    With spring here, this is a great activity for kids to do, with little parental help. They can use the same technique for making other insects, if they don't like bees. Materials: egg carton cups black and yellow paint 2 or more googly eyes red construction paper scissors glue Instructions: Cut off one egg holder from its carton and paint it yellow. Next, use the black paint to make stripes and a face for the bee. Also, use the white pipe cleaner to create wings for the bee.
