Vegetable Hash Browns

Vegetable hash browns – is a delicious breakfast or brunch for children. And one of the favourite morning snacks at the centre. Moreover, it can be a fun activity for children. They can help their parents with the preparation, such as combining and mixing grated vegetables.

 

 

You will need:

-         2 potatoes

-         2 small or 1 big zucchini

-         1 medium size carrot

-         1 small yellow onion

-         Dill

-         100g shredded cheese of your choice

-         2 tsp garlic powder

-         4 eggs

-         3 tbsp all-purpose flour

-         Oil

 

 

Step 1: Peel and grate potato, carrot, and zucchini.

Step 2: Peel and chop yellow onion.

Step 3: Chop dill

 

Step 4: Mix everything together: grated potato, carrot and zucchini, chopped onion, dill, shredded cheese, garlic powder, eggs, and flour.

 

 

 

Step 5: Preheat the frying pan with a little bit of oil.

Step 6: Using a tablespoon, add hash brown mix to the frying pan forming small pancakes, and fry them for 35-40 sec on each side, until they turn golden / light brown.

 

 

Fresh hash browns taste great with a little bit of sour cream!
