Pão de Queijo

Pão de Queijo - Brazilian cheesebread. This is a popular gluten free bread from Brazil (Vanessa's home country). It's easy to make and your kids can help mix the ingredients.




1/2 cup milk

1 1/2 cup tapioca flour  

2 eggs

1/2 cup vegetable oil 

1 tsp salt 

1 cup cheese ( I like old forte, but you can use mozzarella or any other)




Step 1 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a muffin pan with butter. I like to use a traditional-sized muffin pan.


Step 2

Place milk, oil, eggs, salt and cheese in a blender and beat until combined. After, place the tapioca in a blender and beat until well mixed. Pour or spoon batter into the prepared pan.


Step 3

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven.
