Egg Beet Decorating

This is a fun activity for you and your kids to do! Easter has passed but you can still have fun! All you need is eggs, beets for dye, and onion skin, as well as any decorative arts and crafts the children would like to use to decorate.

To begin, you need to boil some water, and adding to it some onion skin and chopped little pieces of beets. Boil for 5 minutes and until the water turns red. Leave the onions and beets inside and put in the amount of eggs you would like to dye and continue boiling for another 10 minutes, then turn off and carefully take out eggs and leave to cool down. They should now by fully red, and all that is left is for the children to decorate and colour them as they wish!! This is an activity that parents and kids can do together for some quality time!
