Do your kids love ladybugs? They are amazing. My daughter loves to go outside and look around the playground to find any of ladybugs. Let’s make your own ladybug finger puppet today.

Supplies:
Black cardstock paper
Red cardstock paper
Googly eyes
Glue
Scissors
Silver marker
Directions:

Step 1. Cut out all of pieces you will need.
one black 4-inch circle (for body)
one red 4-inch circle (for wings), cut it in a half
one black 2.5-inch circle (for head)
7-8 black 0.5-inch circles (for spots on the wing)
one black 3-inch long stripe (for antennae)

Step 2. Cut out two holes at the bottom of the larger 4-inch black circle. These are the holes to make your little ladybug a puppet.

Step 3. Glue the red circle halves onto the larger black circle for the wings and then glue the smaller black circle on top for the ladybug head.

Step 4. Fold black stripe into a V and glue it onto the back of the ladybug head for antennae. Then glue googly eyes and draw a cute smile on your ladybug with your silver marker.

Step 5. Glue the small black circles onto your ladybug wings to make spots.
Now, it is time to play with your own ladybug.

What a delightful and simple craft idea from Campus Children's Centre! As a busy parent juggling work deadlines and family time, I love how this ladybug finger puppet project turns everyday materials like paper, googly eyes, and pipe cleaners into hours of imaginative play for my little ones. We made ours last weekend, folding the black stripes into antennae and adding a cheeky smile—now they're buzzing around the house acting out bug adventures, which sparks their creativity without screens. It's perfect for fine motor skills and storytelling, just like the blog describes. Balancing these fun moments with my studies has been tough, but Kaplan Assignment Help has been a lifesaver, providing expert guidance on my business courses so I can…
This ladybug finger puppet idea is so sweet and easy to follow, especially with the clear step by step cuts and glue tips. I remember making paper crafts with my younger cousin during exam season, and while I once searched for online exam help to manage my workload, simple activities like this were what truly helped me relax. There is something calming about hands on creativity. Crafts like this make learning and play feel connected.
