Homemade Tic Tac Toe

A great game to teach children is how to play tic-tac-toe. Once they learn they have fun playing it! With this activity you can make your own game board as well!

You and your child can make your board in a variety of ways. Some ways include taking a square piece of wood and painting it then drawing in the lines or just simply taking some construction paper then cut it into a square and drawing in the lines. Next it’s time to make your game pieces. The game pieces can be anything that you and your child want them to be. You could take some felt and cut it out in the shape of footballs and soccer balls then decorate them or taking some printer paper and making x’s and o’s then cutting them out and decorating them. It’s completely up to you and your child!
