Shaving Cream Easter Eggs
With Easter around the corner, a family favourite of ours has been decorating hard boiled eggs and bringing them to family gatherings. Now with the self isolation, most likely gatherings will not be happening but that does not mean that decorating eggs can not happen. I found, a couple of years ago, an easy and fun way to decorate eggs, and my niece absolutely loves doing it. She actually said yesterday that it had been a long time since we had coloured eggs and that she wanted to do it again. So the plan is to do it in the next week or so, and then still be able to enjoy eating the eggs afterwards.
Things you will need:
Hard boiled eggs
Shaving cream or Cool whip
Food colouring
Baking sheet
Gloves
In a pan or cookie sheet put in either shaving cream or cool whip (the one in the tub in the freezer section). Then pick the colours of food colouring that you want and put drops all over. With a toothpick or spoon gently swirl the colours together. I find that if you do green it takes over and then most of your eggs will be green. Then take your hard boiled eggs and roll them in the shaving cream until they are completely covered. Put them on a plate afterwards and let them sit for about 10 minutes and then wipe them off and they are ready to go. It is a simple yet fun activity to do.
