Egg Carton Flowers

Bring Spring into your homes with this fun, colourful activity:

• Egg cartons

• Pipe cleaners

• Paints

• Empty bottles or any plastic containers (i.e. pint-size yoghurt or ice cream)

• Cut-out tissue papers, ribbons

• Glue

• Scissors

Cut the wall of the dimples of the carton. You have the cut-out flowers.

Then let your child paint the cutout flowers. Let them dry.

Now, it’s time to decorate the vase. Ask your child to glue some tissue papers on the vase or you can use your spare vase.

Once dry, Insert the pipe cleaner and arrange the flowers in the vase. Now, you have a centerpiece or a Mother’s day present.

Note: You can use other type of paints that would make the flowers more vibrant. Also, you can use any decorative materials for your vase. Whatever works for you and your child, is fine.
